WHAT CLIENTS HAVE SAID…

“Tracy Kopsachilis is a saint of patience. As a newbie indie publisher, I had a lot to learn about working with a cover designer. Tracy taught me, humored me, listened to me, and collaborated with me through the production of three books in three months. At no time during that wild ride did she communicate anything other than respect, interest, and creativity. I remain very grateful.” Alice Archer, alicearcher.com

"My collaboration with Tracy Kopsachilis has been seamless from the start. She's designed six covers for me and each time, the process was easy, enjoyable and professional. Her stunning designs and ease of collaboration make her a joy to work with. I cannot recommend her highly enough." – Suanne Laqueur suannelaqueurwrites.com

"Tracy did a phenomenal job for me. She is very talented, and she submitted her work ahead of schedule. She was very good about communicating throughout the entire process. In addition, she tried to help me figure out some issues I was having with a different project. Tracy is an all-around skillful, helpful, and careful freelancer."  – Susan Hedman, Hartman Publishing, Inc.

“I recently had the pleasure of working with Tracy Kopsachilis on a textbook project. I was acting as developmental editor for a book in a field of study considerably different from the area our company usually covers. This textbook for EKG technicians required numerous annotated illustrations of cardiac rhythms. Using EKG tracings identified by the author, Tracy was tasked with accentuating the key identifying features of each rhythm and clearly summarizing the relevant measurements and data in an accessible, attractive format. Some of the rhythms are particularly dangerous to the patient and Tracy also needed to develop a consistent way to emphasize these potentially deadly rhythms. Despite having no previous knowledge of the subject matter, Tracy was very much willing to learn and always enthusiastic about the challenge. She responded quickly and positively to all feedback she received.

Drafts of the textbook were very positively received by EKG technician instructors and I believe this is due in very large part to the outstanding illustrations Tracy provided for the rhythm identification portion of the book. Her work helped to make a complicated topic accessible for the target audience of high school, community college, and technical school students. She also laid out the instructor’s guide for the book and was very responsive and proactive in her work. Her contributions were key to the success of this project and I was always grateful to have her on our team.”Kristin Calderon, Developmental Editor, Hartman Publishing

“A close friend connected Tracy Kopsachilis and me as I was beginning work on the cover for my first novel entitled "RED". Tracy was fabulous to collaborate with during this process. Tracy balanced both her professionalism and her compassion for the project. She understood the importance my work was to me and that I needed the cover to convey the perfect message.

Creating a cover for a novel was a new experience; therefore, it was a pleasure to experience the depth of Tracy’s engagement and commitment to the project. Understanding the story and the message I wanted to convey was important to her. Tracy listened to what I said and built on it with her suggestions based on her expertise and experience. Our back and forth communication as the cover design evolved were surprisingly fun and stress-free. It didn’t take long until she was able to flesh out our dialogue to create an image which is hauntingly beautiful and seductive.

Currently she is working with me on creating a logo for the novel and website. Next up for us, the cover for book two!" Elizabeth Runciman,  Author of the Dark Wood series

"Tracy Kopsachilis is one of the most talented and versatile graphic designers I've worked with in over two decades. She never misses a deadline and works extremely well under pressure. I've hired her for long- and short-term projects, and I've always been thrilled with the results." – Travis Neighbor Ward www.travisneighborward.com

“Working with Tracy was a dream. I presented her with a major challenge in designing my book cover: “Please create a cover using a truffle, a knobby, brown, mushroomy, brain-like fungus that closely resembles a pile of dog poop. Oh, and it needs to appeal to a highly educated female audience." Dozens of concepts and sixty FIVE drafts later, Tracy created the most amazing cover, better than I could have possibly hoped for. The design does everything a great cover needs to do and sets the tone for the text beautifully. As if that wasn’t enough, Tracy also deftly created graphs and illustrations from rough sketches I drew and snapped with my iPhone camera. She is a conscientious, talented, patient, funny and kind designer and I am so grateful and lucky to have found her. Snap her up to make your project great before someone else does! Go on! What are you waiting for?” – Melanie Polkosky, Ph.D., coach/consultant and author of "Uncovering Truffles: The Scarcity and Value of Women in STEM" www.melaniepolkosky.com

"Tracy is completely amazing to work with! We needed a logo and gave direction about what we were thinking but she came back with a number of great options, far beyond what we'd hoped for. She responds quickly and often and is a good problem solver. She understood we didn't have a big budget to work with so her ability to work quickly saved the day. She's the complete package: professional, creative and helpful." – Adrianne Castro, coffeeinitalia.com

"Tracy helped me take my logo idea from a concept to a fully fleshed out reality. I was very comfortable working with her because she took time to understand my personal aesthetic and work with me to create exactly what I wanted. We went through several revisions, and Tracy was prompt and professional throughout the entire process. I am thrilled with the final product and would gladly recommend Tracy as a designer." – Lola Bravo, Lola Bravo Consulting
